Every ISE student is personally interviewed, screened and evaluated.
Every student application provides the following:
A biography and letter of application from the natural parents
Letters of reference
Original transcripts of grades
Signed letter of agreement to abide by the ISE program guidelines.
Every student is given an Orientation prior to departing his/her native country to inform and prepare them for their stay in the U.S.

GERMANY | MALE | 17
Johann is a big fan of basketball and loves music. He hopes to join the school band. He is a B student. He likes reading books, especially science fiction. Johnan is from a small town outside of Berlin. He has two sisters, both of them older. His father is a carpenter while his mother stays home. They have two dogs.
SPAIN | FEMALE | 16
Mariana is from Barcelona. Her father works in a bank while her mom stays home. She has one younger sister who is 14. Mariana is a very enthusiastic girl that loves to travel and write music in her spare time. She is a brilliant student with an A average. She wants to continue to play the piano when she visits stays in the US.
SOUTH KOREA | FEMALE | 18
Mun-Hee is from a medium size city in South Korea. Her mother father works for a large corporation. She has two brothers who are both older. Her mom stays home. Mun-Hee is an A-B student with advance english skills. She wants to become a lawyer one day. In her spare time, she plays sports and likes to take long runs.

Camila lives near the beach. She has 1 brother and loves to horseback ride when she gets the chance. She surfs early in the mornings before school. Camila is a B student. Her father works for the government while her mother is a private tutor. Her brother is only 9. Camila wants to be a journalist some day.
